How to do your makeup like a star for New Year's Eve?
The holiday season is upon us. Ladies, let's ditch the classic makeup and be bold. Let's go all out!
1. The complexion
To achieve a radiant complexion, use very thin layers. Don't forget to apply a layer of cream as a base. Beauticians recommend using a brush for applying foundation. This method results in a much more natural distribution.
Opt for a light-reflecting under-eye mask. Gently apply it to shaded areas such as the eye contour, the sides of your nose, and your chin. Powder everything with a large eyeshadow brush.
You can also add a drop or two of a enhancing product, for a guaranteed pearly effect that will capture the light.
Finally, blush, a slightly golden pink, on the cheekbones and towards the temples.
2. The eyes
An essential step: a light layer of makeup base on the eyelids, to make the eyeshadow last until the wee hours of the night. Apply it to the entire upper eyelids, using your fingertips.
For the holidays, don't hesitate to use eyeshadows in pop or metallic shades. Green eyes can dare to go for a soft purple, blue eyes can be adorned with copper, and brown eyes with gold or bronze. Skim the bottom of your lashes with a line of black eyeliner. All you have to do is finish with mascara (total black or smoky black) with a lengthening effect for more effect. Be sure to redefine the shape of your eyebrows, avoiding pencil; powder works well.
3. The mouth
For a glamorous pout, simply line the edges of your lips with a pencil in your natural lip color, then fill in the inside with a brush with the color of your choice. For a glossy effect, add a touch of gloss and you're done!
Beautiful as a star...let the party begin!
