Online commerce – Christmas 2010 bat tous les records

All the stores are reporting record numbers for this Christmas. A good portion of the gifts placed under the tree come from online orders. Pixmania announced 1.3 million packages sent for the month of December, 301,000 more than the same period in 2009.
The only current concern is the snow, which is severely disrupting deliveries and could cause delivery times to be exceeded. If packages are not delivered on time, Amazon and other services would compensate for the delay by offering a refund or compensation with vouchers.
