Cream fudge
Making a successful fudge recipe can sometimes be a miracle. It's either too soft or too hard. It takes several minutes of beating, and the result is often far from what you expected. Here's a very easy fudge recipe. It will only take a few minutes, at most ten. Even the most inexperienced person can't mess it up. It's worth noting that this fudge can be stored in the refrigerator. It won't harden and will retain its consistency.
Ingredients :
600 grams of pressed brown sugar
225 grams of butter
185 ml evaporated milk
300 grams of icing sugar
Nuts (optional)
Preparation :
In a saucepan, combine the brown sugar and butter. Melt over low heat, stirring constantly. When the mixture comes to a boil, add the evaporated milk and bring back to a boil.
Simmer for 5 minutes, stirring constantly. After this time, remove from heat. If you prefer a thicker fudge, simmer for 10 minutes.
Gradually mix in the icing sugar using an electric mixer. The sugar is ready when the mixture stops running when a few drops are placed in a dish, which takes little more than a minute or two.
Add the nuts and pour into a 22 cm square mold.
Let cool at room temperature or in the refrigerator.
