How to dress for Christmas?
For the ladies
From one year to the next, we notice that black is the color most often chosen by women for Christmas festivities. It must be said that, since Chanel, the essential little black dress still has many fans. The garment must, however, be very well cut and modern. A few silver or gold jewels, a small chain belt a little lower on the waist, or even a transparent shawl with elegant patterns transform this little dress into an ultra-chic garment.
Those who love to follow trends should, this Christmas, embrace anything reminiscent of Hollywood and cinema if they want to dress up to date, according to designers. Shiny or satin fabrics for dresses, tunics, or pants, fitted but not too tight, presented in bright colors (red, burgundy, orange, gold, bronze, silver) or white. However, don't overdo it. Often, a simple pair of high-quality pants, worn with stilettos and a chic top, will be more than enough to look elegant.
For the gentlemen
A word of advice, first of all: be comfortable while remaining elegant. If wearing pants, a jacket, and a tie bothers you, opt for a thin cardigan with a V-neck that reveals the shirt without a tie, for example. Straight-legged, well-cut pants in a dark color will complement it. Another option: some shirts are so interesting in terms of cut and fabric that the jacket is no longer essential.
