Suggestions for doing a good deed this Christmas
Saviez-vous qu’il est possible de faire plaisir à Christmas à des enfants défavorisés sans débourser un seul centime? Voici quelques suggestions pour réaliser ce projet qui peut, au départ, sembler impossible.

This site (www.monbeausapin.org) présente quotidiennement une bande dessinée en ligne, ce qui permet de vous faire découvrir un auteur différent à chaque visite. Jusqu’à Noël, cette organisation, en collaboration avec son partenaire, Orange, verse à la Croix-Rouge de France une somme proportionnelle au nombre total de visiteurs. Plus le site reçoit de visites, plus le montant offert sera important. Ce don sera destiné à l’opération « Arbres de Noël » de la Croix-Rouge, qui offre des cadeaux aux enfants de familles pauvres.

The Big Playtime
Have your children grown up and their toys, still in good condition, are now just stuffing the bottom of their wardrobes? If you don't know any children who could benefit, donate them to La Grande Récré stores. Until December 24, 2011, this organization will collect toys from its 184 branches, clean them, restore them to perfect condition, and then distribute them to more than 300 charities. Last year, 60,000 toys brought joy to thousands of children on Christmas Day.
It's not always easy to convince children to part with their toys and games, even if they've long since abandoned them. Take this opportunity to teach them the values of human solidarity by explaining that they'll be helping children who live near them.
