Since 1903, in Stockholm, Christmas markets (julmarknader in Swedish) are set up from the end of November to the end of December, and take place in the main squares of the city, in small red chalets, at Kungsträdgården (on November 27, 28, 29 then between December 4 and 22) and on Stortorget (between November 21 and December 23) and also in Gamla Stan.
Design markets
Design schools also have their own Christmas market. For Konstfack it is at Telephone plan, for Beckmans, it is in Nybrogatan. The large amusement park Gröna Lund, the museum Skansen and Hovstallet (the royal stables) organize their own Christmas market. At Skansen This is an opportunity to admire the country's typical artisanal creations (November 28 and 29, December 5 and 6, then December 12 and 13, as well as December 19 and 20).
