How to Make a Traditional Christmas Wreath
Quelques branches de conifère et des décorations naturelles constituent la base d’une belle couronne de Christmas à placer sur une porte ou au mur d’une pièce de la maison. Voici les étapes pour réaliser ce projet facile.
Material
Two cardboard circles of the size of your choice
A glue gun
A roll of ribbon (color of your choice)
Dried oranges and lemons *
Pine or fir branches
Pine cones (ideally elongated)
Cinnamon sticks, raffia, small decorative cookies.
Manufacturing
Cut out two circles of the desired size from a piece of thick cardboard, creating two fairly wide rings. Glue them together and let them dry before decorating.
Decoration: Then coat one side of the rings with glue and slowly wrap a ribbon around it, adhering it to cover the entire cardboard. Let it dry. To decorate, glue the ends of conifer branches, dried oranges and lemons, cinnamon sticks, and biscuits in an artistic manner (see photo).
All you have to do now is braid three pieces of raffia to make the link that will be used to hang your wreath.
* Recipe for drying citrus fruits:
Cut several oranges and lemons into medium slices (6 mm wide). In a bowl, pour the juice of one lemon with two tablespoons of salt and a little water. Let the fruit soak for about 5 minutes. Then place the slices on a baking sheet and bake in the oven at 150 degrees F or 70 degrees C for 12 hours. Turn the fruit occasionally.
Let cool before using to decorate your wreath.
