Le principal d\u2019entre eux, l\u2019un des plus c\u00e9l\u00e8bres d\u2019Europe, est organis\u00e9 sur the Square<\/strong> of the old town<\/strong> (Star\u00e9 Mesto). <\/em>True to the tradition of European Christmas markets, there are small wooden chalets offering decorations, candles, ceramic items, wooden toys, figurines embellished with corn leaves and many other wonders.<\/p>\n

Both gourmets and those with a chilly appetite will find something to delight and warm up in the many kiosks-restaurants offering artisanal pastries. (trdlo<\/em>), hot chestnuts, grilled sausages of all kinds, without forgetting the famous grog, mulled wine (svar\u00e1k<\/em>) and flavored mead.<\/p>\n

Comme No\u00ebl c\u00e9l\u00e8bre avant tout la naissance de Jesus<\/a>, une cr\u00e8che est install\u00e9e sur la grande place et attire un grand nombre d\u2019enfants. Other markets, smaller than the one in the Old Town Square, are worth discovering: the one in Wenceslas Square<\/strong> where the second largest Christmas market in Prague takes place; that of Peace Square<\/strong> (n\u00e1mest\u00ed M\u00edru<\/em>), a little far from the center and frequented mainly by residents; also that of the Place de la R\u00e9publique, central, and the one on V\u00e1clavsk\u00e9 Square<\/strong>. There is also Havelska Market<\/strong> which is one of the oldest and most beautiful in Prague. The Prague-Hole\u0161ovice Exhibition Centre offers, in addition to its market, many other activities. Finally, 30 km north of Prague, Meln\u00edk Christmas Market<\/strong> offers a quieter atmosphere, away from the frenzy of shopping.<\/p>\n
