Datant possiblement de 1857, on ne d\u00e9tient que tr\u00e8s peu d\u2019informations concernant cet ancien chant de <a href=\"https:\/\/www.blognoel.com\/en\/\">Christmas<\/a>, comme tous les autres cantiques d\u2019ailleurs \u00e9manant d\u2019une \u00e9poque lointaine. Si l\u2019on associe cette date \u00e0 celle de sa composition, c\u2019est qu\u2019au cours de l\u2019ann\u00e9e 1957, le R\u00e9v\u00e9rend John Henry Hopkins Jr., alors directeur musical du S\u00e9minaire Th\u00e9ologique G\u00e9n\u00e9ral de New York, aurait pr\u00e9sent\u00e9 un spectacle de No\u00ebl, dans lequel cet hymne aurait \u00e9t\u00e9 jou\u00e9. <\/p>\n<p>Based on this show, we can therefore assume that We Three Kings was written during this period, or perhaps even earlier. However, in one of his publications, which contained Christmas carols and hymns, and dating from 1963, this song does not appear at all. In short, in any case, We Three Kings, also known as We Three Kings of Orient and The Quest of the Magi, has long belonged to the category of Christmas carols, despite its low popularity. <\/p>\n<p>While it may never have been able to compete with other Christmas carols and songs, it still receives radio airplay during the holiday season.
