Il aura fallu attendre quelques ann\u00e9es de diffusion pour qu\u2019enfin, elle se classe parmi les meilleures chansons de No\u00ebl. D\u2019ailleurs, en 2009, elle devenait la neuvi\u00e8me chanson de No\u00ebl la plus jou\u00e9e au Royaume-Uni, et depuis, elle n\u2019a rien perdu de sa popularit\u00e9. <\/p>\n<p>Interestingly, Step into Christmas is one of the few Christmas songs that hasn&#039;t been covered by other artists. It seems that no one has dared to reproduce this great Elton John hit. In fact, his version is the only one that has been popularized. Remastered a few years later, Step into Christmas appears on many of Elton John&#039;s albums, even those that don&#039;t feature any other Christmas songs. <\/p>\n<p>A video was also produced, but it differs from the original version. According to Elton John and Bernie Taupin, who wrote the lyrics, this difference was intentional. By recording a video version, the two co-writers wanted to pay homage to the Christmas songs from Spector&#039;s productions.
