The 1954 version, titled &quot;This Year Santa Baby,&quot; featured in the film &quot;Driver Miss Daisy,&quot; was indeed a flop. In 1963, a much more uptempo version was featured in the film &quot;New Faces,&quot; and this version was also the one that inspired singer Madonna to include on her charity album, &quot;A Very Special Christmas.&quot; <\/p>\n<p>Interestingly, &quot;Santa Baby&quot; is one of the few Christmas songs to have been performed exclusively by female artists. These singers include Britney Spears, Kylie Minogue, Ally McBeal, LeAnn Rimes, and Maria Carey.
