Curieusement, en Italie, le P\u00e8re Christmas<\/a> a \u00e9t\u00e9 remplac\u00e9 par une gentille sorci\u00e8re (la Befana) coiff\u00e9e d\u2019un chapeau pointu, \u00e0 cheval sur un balai comme il se doit, qui part glisser dans la chemin\u00e9e des maisons les cadeaux que les enfants ouvriront \u00e0 No\u00ebl. On peut d’ailleurs voir plusieurs repr\u00e9sentations de la Befana aux fen\u00eatres des maisons italiennes durant les festivit\u00e9s.<\/p>\n

Selon la l\u00e9gende, cette sympathique sorci\u00e8re est cependant fort distraite. En effet, un peu avant la naissance de Jesus<\/a>, les bergers lui avaient montr\u00e9 l\u2019\u00e9toile indiquant la direction de Bethl\u00e9em mais elle oublia de se souvenir de quelle \u00e9toile il s\u2019agissait et depuis, on pr\u00e9tend qu\u2019elle fait le tour du monde en la cherchant.<\/p>\n

Traditions<\/strong><\/p>\n
