Recorded that same year by Andy Williams, its success was particularly felt in the United States, before crossing the borders of French-speaking countries. Increasingly broadcast on radio, its popularity only grew, to the point that today, it occupies a prominent place among traditional Christmas songs. In 1968 and 1976, It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year was used as part of an advertising campaign for a lung disease association, aimed at promoting Christmas stamps. <\/p>\n

Then, for a few years, just before the back-to-school season, the Staples office supply retail chain also used it in a humorous way to promote their school supplies. In these advertisements, we could see parents shopping for school supplies, very happy to see their offspring return to class, while the children, in a foul mood, reluctantly accompanied them. <\/p>\n
