Toutefois, en reportant \u00e0 ce jour de juillet 1945, alors que la r\u00e9gion d\u2019Hollywood enregistrait un record de temp\u00e9rature, on peut facilement comprendre, qu\u2019au moment o\u00f9 Styne couchait sur papier cette m\u00e9lodie, il ne pensait qu\u2019\u00e0 se rafra\u00eechir. Quant aux paroles, elles appartiennent \u00e0 Sammy Cahn, parolier, compositeur et musicien am\u00e9ricain, particuli\u00e8rement connu pour ses \u0153uvres romantiques. <\/p>\n

Since the song's lyrics often refer to the snowy season, "Let It Snow" first received radio airplay in December and eventually became a traditional Christmas carol. In fact, just a year after its release, it reached number one on the US Billboard charts and is now one of the most successful Christmas songs to date. <\/p>\n

The version by Vaughn Wilton Monroe, an American singer and trumpeter who first lent his voice to Let It Snow, is not the one we hear frequently on the radio. It belongs to Dean Martin, who achieved great popularity by recording this Christmas classic. In the film Die Hard, starring Bruce Willis, it is this version. Subsequently, other artists have recorded different versions, including Andy Williams, Doris Day, Smokey Robinson and The Miracles, Carly Simon, Neil Sedaka, and more recently Michael Bubl\u00e9. <\/p>\n
