Elle remonterait jusqu\u2019au 16e si\u00e8cle, alors que les enfants laissaient leurs sabots remplis de foin devant le foyer pour les rennes de Saint Nicholas. Pour les remercier les enfants de cette attention, le saint homme laissait des bonbons et gourmandises qui d\u00e9bordaient des sabots. Les pi\u00e8ces de monnaie tomb\u00e8rent dans les chaussettes que les filles du marchand avaient suspendues \u00e0 la chemin\u00e9e afin de les faire s\u00e9cher. Depuis ce jour, les enfants du monde entier accrochent leurs chaussettes \u00e0 la chemin\u00e9e en esp\u00e9rant y retrouver un <a href=\"https:\/\/www.blognoel.com\/en\/christmas-gifts\/\">gift<\/a>.
