THE BASIC MODEL
Step 1: Position the gift
Unroll your wrapping paper (decorated side down) then place the gift on the undecorated side. Leave enough length to leave space around the gift and then cut your paper.
Step 2: Roll up the package
Fold both ends of the paper over a few centimeters, so that the fold is straight and the crease has more stability. Fold the first side over a little more than half the width of the gift. Then fold the second side over and secure with tape.
Step 3: Prepare the sides of the gift
At this point, you've wrapped the entire gift, now you have the sides. Cut along the sides so that the length of the paper is slightly less than the height of the gift.
Step 4: Fold down the sides of the package
Fold the side of the paper over the object, folding it into a triangle at the top and bottom, at right angles. Do the same for the other side.
Step 5: A beautiful gift package
Then fold the bottom and then the top over. Secure with tape. Repeat steps 4 and 5 for the 4 corners of the new side. That's it!
Step 6: Decorating the package
To embellish your gift package, add the essential ribbon or bolduc, then cut a sufficient length of ribbon; pass it over the width, and over the length, then tie a knot in the center.
