Lorraine Punch with Mirabelle Plum
For 10 people
To make this very easy punch recipe, you will need 50 cl of mirabelle plum brandy, 25 cl of lemon Pulco, 25 cl of cane sugar syrup, a bottle of Perrier sparkling water and canned mirabelle plums.
Preparation
First, mix the Mirabelle plum with the Pulco and cane sugar syrup. Refrigerate for about two hours.
Then pour everything into a large bowl and garnish with a few mirabelle plums (or thin lemon slices) before serving. At the last moment, add the sparkling water.
Note: For more “glamour,” substitute champagne for the Perrier.
Punch de Christmas Rhum-Cognac (12-14 personnes)
For ingredients, plan on 2 liters of dark rum, 1 liter of Cognac, 12 cl of peach brandy, 3 liters of water, 500 grams of brown sugar, 18 lemons (grated zest and squeezed juice). Mini ice cubes or crushed ice
Mix the water and brown sugar to make a syrup. Pour it while hot over the lemon zest and juice. Let it cool before adding the alcohol. Stir well to obtain a smooth liquid. Serve in champagne glasses with ice cubes.
Non-alcoholic punch for children
Children love this simple punch, which they enjoy with the adults.
Recipe: 6 cl lemon juice, 12 cl orange juice without pulp, 6 cl pineapple juice, a dash of grenadine. To taste, add sparkling water (or ginger ale) and a few ice cubes. Serve in fun glasses with a straw.
