Recipes: Non-alcoholic Christmas cocktails
With the festivities, cocktails become essential to accompany aperitifs and appetizers. Some guests, to keep a cool head or watch their weight, prefer to consume only non-alcoholic drinks. Here are some recipes they'll love:
The Shirley Temple, a classic from the fifties:
Pour a dash of grenadine into a tall glass filled with ice, top with ginger ale, then garnish with cherries and an orange slice.
The Tennis Flip:
Squeeze one grapefruit, two oranges, and one lemon. Add 5 centiliters of pineapple juice, a splash of grenadine, one egg, and ice cubes. Stir in a cocktail shaker and transfer to a tall glass garnished with a pineapple wedge and a cherry.
Chic Paradis Punch
In a large glass, pour 30 centilitres of apple juice, 30 cl of apricot juice and the juice of one lemon. Add sugar to taste. Garnish with fresh mint leaves.
Exoticoco
1 large glass of milk
100g fresh or defrosted strawberries
1 teaspoon of coconut flakes
Pour everything into a blender and mix until smooth. Serve cold with a piece of dark chocolate.
Pussyfoot
10 centilitres of apple juice, 5 cl of orange juice, 2 cl of lemon juice, mint syrup to taste. Mix then pour over ice cubes in a tall glass.
Peach pineapple
35 milliliters of pineapple juice, 80 ml of grapefruit juice, and 20 ml of peach syrup. Pour the juices directly over ice cubes in a tall glass. Pairs well with sorbet.
