“Angels in our countryside”, also known by the Latin title Gloria in excelsis Deo, est l’un des chants de Christmas français les plus célèbres. D’origine traditionnelle, il remonte au 16th century and was sung in the French countryside to celebrate the Nativity. Its popularity spread throughout the Christian world, where it is sung in many languages.
