Activity: Make little place marker elves with the children

Supplies:
A basket of pine cones
Hazelnuts
Some pipe cleaners
Gel glue (for children) or glue gun (for adults)
Red and green felt
Manufacturing steps:
Dans une feuille de feutrine verte, découpez un triangle assez grand pour envelopper la noisette. Collez ensuite le morceau de feutrine autour de la noisette et laissez apparaître un peu la noix, qui servira pour le visage du elf.
Glue the edges of the triangle to imitate a pointed elf hat.
Draw the elf's features on the hazelnut using a waterproof felt-tip pen. Then glue the elf's head to a pine cone. To form the arms, slide a piece of pipe cleaner into the spaces in the pine cone.
On a piece of colored cardboard, write the name of one of the guests, and have it hold on the elf's "arms."
Suggestion :
Several elves grouped together in the center of a wreath made of fir branches make a very pretty centerpiece. Children can then make felt hats in different colors and place Christmas decorations between the "arms" of each elf.
