Contrairement aux autres chansons traditionnelles diffus\u00e9es pendant la p\u00e9riode des f\u00eates, Santa Baby ne fait aucunement mention des festivit\u00e9s, ni des r\u00e9unions familiales. Les paroles qu\u2019elle contient \u00e9num\u00e8rent plut\u00f4t une liste de cadeaux quelque peu excentriques, et adress\u00e9e au <a href=\"https:\/\/www.blognoel.com\/de\/charaktere\/weihnachtsmann\/\">Weihnachtsmann<\/a>. N\u00e9anmoins, bien que ces paroles aient pu en offusquer quelques-uns \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9poque, rappelons que la chanson se voulait plut\u00f4t du genre pince-sans-rire.<\/p>\n<p>Die allererste Version von \u201eSanta Baby\u201c erwies sich als deutlich beliebter als die zweite, obwohl beide von Eartha Kitt aufgenommen wurden. Die Version von 1954 mit dem Titel \u201eThis Year Santa Baby\u201c, die im Film \u201eMiss Daisy und ihr Fahrer\u201c zu h\u00f6ren war, war tats\u00e4chlich ein Flop. 1963 war eine deutlich schnellere Version im Film \u201eNew Faces\u201c zu h\u00f6ren, und diese Version inspirierte auch S\u00e4ngerin Madonna dazu, sie auf ihr Charity-Album \u201eA Very Special Christmas\u201c aufzunehmen. <\/p>\n<p>Interessanterweise ist \u201eSanta Baby\u201c eines der wenigen Weihnachtslieder, das ausschlie\u00dflich von K\u00fcnstlerinnen gesungen wurde.
