En effet, \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9poque sovi\u00e9tique, elle ne figurait plus parmi les f\u00eates officielles du pays. Il y a neuf ans, la coutume de c\u00e9l\u00e9brer No\u00ebl est redevenue officielle. F\u00eate religieuse par excellence pour l\u2019\u00e9glise orthodoxe, elle tend \u00e0 devenir de plus en plus familiale.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Weihnachten im Januar<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>W\u00e4hrend der Nikolaustag am 19. Dezember mit der Bescherung der Kinder gefeiert wird, entspricht der 7. Januar (gregorianischer Kalender) eher der allgemeinen Idee eines Weihnachtsfestes. Die Familie versammelt sich dann in dem Raum, in dem ein gro\u00dfer Tannenbaum und hell leuchtende Kerzen aufgestellt sind. Die Kinder erhalten dann weitere Geschenke, S\u00fc\u00dfigkeiten und Taschengeld. F\u00fcr das Weihnachtsessen wird zun\u00e4chst ein Tisch mit zw\u00f6lf vegetarischen Gerichten gedeckt; erst wenn der erste Stern am Himmel erscheint (eine Anspielung auf den Stern der Heiligen Drei K\u00f6nige), kann man sich an Fleisch, Pasteten, Desserts und S\u00fc\u00dfigkeiten satt essen.<\/p>\n<p><strong><br \/>\nEine Tradition wird fortgesetzt <\/strong>: das Weizenb\u00fcndel (das Didukh), das der Hausherr mitbringt, um die Bedeutung der Ernte dieses Getreides in der Ukraine hervorzuheben. In den St\u00e4dten werden einige Weizenb\u00fcndel als Tafelaufsatz in eine Vase gestellt.<\/p>\n<p><strong><br \/>\nWassertaufe<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Die Festzeit endet am 19. Januar mit der \u201eWassertaufe\u201c. Orthodoxe Priester graben ein kreuzf\u00f6rmiges Loch in das Eis eines Flusses, gro\u00df genug, damit die Mutigsten darin baden k\u00f6nnen.
